Come and Worship is a new model of Moravian worship, ministry and community. Our Mission Statement is: “Gathering in Christ, growing faith and fellowship with all; going out to serve.”
We offer a safe, inviting, relaxed and open atmosphere for worship and fellowship. Here, you will find Christian worship opportunities that combine traditional and new forms of worship in both informal and interactive ways. We focus on historical Moravian principles of simplicity, devotion to Christ, fellowship and music.
Our ministry offers interesting, relevant worship themes that follow the church year. We pay attention to personal and communal needs, and we believe in fostering a caring community. It is our goal to promote mission activity while exploring both faith and community.
Why Come & Worship?
We are here to worship and serve together as Christians called to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
At Come and Worship, we call people to a faith walk with God, to embrace all of its opportunities, challenges and uncertainties. Here, we strive to become the people God calls us to be – whoever and whatever that may be. To be traditionally Moravian is to be innovative in the community. This is in both worship and work. Our ministry is inclusive of people in as wide a realm as possible, affirming differences and celebrating common commitments.
The journey of faith is a long one, and we invite you to walk it with us.
What You Can Expect
Our worship is simple, but innovative. We are a ministry for all ages, and you can expect scripture, reflection, song and prayer led by a fluid team of ordained and not-ordained Moravians who are committed to the cause of Jesus Christ.
Here, you can discover what it feels like to be a part of a supportive and caring community.
What We Are Not
We are not liberal or conservative.
Do not think of us as traditional or contemporary. We are not charismatic or Pentecostal; nor are we ancient or post-modern. These are terms and labels and words alone. To us, they are less important than the unity seen in the person and the work of the Savior in faith, hope and love.
What Do You Do
Come and worship.
And if you should so choose, commit yourself to being a part of this Moravian worship community. You are welcome to be active with us in both worship and fellowship, and we invite you to offer what you can, whether that be your time, talent and/or resources.
May that we all bring something beneficial to the community that surrounds us.
